Description
The Queen's Road Lodge, dating from the 19th century, is a two-storey building constructed of grey rock-faced snecked stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring a brick chimney. The windows were originally sash glazed but have been replaced with modern units.
On the front elevation, to the right, there is a gabled cross wing that includes paired windows with decorative relief above on the upper floor, along with a square bay window on the ground floor. To the left, the roof slopes down to create an open porch supported by turned wooden posts, which features three camber-headed bays. The doorway has a modern door, and there is a single-light window to the left. The left side of the building has paired windows above a splayed bay window.
