Description
Ty-mawr Terrace is a row of houses, dating from the 18th century, originally of 3 bays, with a later extension to the west. The houses are constructed of painted roughcast stone with a slate roof. Number 2, at the left end, has been extended by one bay. The two-storey facade features a mix of horned and unhorned sash windows, and rendered chimney stacks, with a projecting stack to the left-hand gable end. The original three bays are not perfectly symmetrical, but centrally positioned is a round-headed entrance with a fanlight over a six-panelled door. The ground floor windows are 20-pane sashes in segmental-headed openings, while the first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes directly beneath the eaves. The additional bay to the right of number 2, beyond an axial stack, has matching windows on both floors and continues westwards as number 3.
