Description
Ty Capel Moriah is a storied one-window cottage that is attached to the chapel and shares a continuous roof with it. The entrance is recessed on the east side to the left, featuring quoins made of dressed Penmaenmawr stone. It has a four-panel contemporary door with a marginally-glazed overlight above. The cottage has two-part windows with marginally-glazed sashes and similar stone surrounds, with the ground floor window having a shallow triangular lintel and projecting slate cills. The rear gable is made of rubble with a rendered upper section, displaying irregular openings, including an off-centre entrance and similar windows across three floors. The west side is slate-hung with windows matching those on the other sides. There is a single-storey modern extension on the right side of the rear gable. This building was not inspected during the survey conducted in October 1996.
