Description
E.J. Theodore is a three-storey late Georgian house and shop. It is constructed of local rubble with a slate roof and end chimneys, featuring plain cornicing. The late 19th-century shop front has a simple wooden fascia with enamelled lettering and a bracketed cornice supported by fluted pilasters. Large six-pane windows are located on either side of a central entrance that has part-glazed double doors. The first floor has twelve-pane sash windows, with the left one recessed and possibly a later replacement. The second floor features nine-pane sash windows under the eaves, with projecting stone sills throughout. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
