Description

This is a three-storey late Georgian house and shop located at 72 High Street. It is built of local rubble with a slate roof and an end chimney on the right side. The building features plain cornicing and weathercoursing. On the ground floor, there is an entrance on the left with a modern door and a plain rectangular overlight, which leads to the domestic section on the upper floors. The shop front on the right is modern. On the first floor, there is a mid-19th century 6-pane sash window on the right, while the second floor has shorter contemporary 6-pane sashes located under the eaves, with projecting stone sills throughout. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
