Description

Two 3-storey late Georgian shop premises now combined, that to the R (no 9) stepped-up at eaves level. Of local rubble construction with later whitened render; slate roof and end chimneys with plain cornicing and weather-coursing. Unaltered C19 shop front: that to the L (no 11) has a simple wooden fascia with moulded cornice and a large 4-pane sash with marginal glazing; flanking entrances with part-glazed, modern doors and narrow rectangular overlights. The right-hand shop front (no 9) has a similar fascia with bracketed cornice and a large 6-pane window with entrance to the R; door as before. Single six-pane sashes to the upper floors of both units, the upper one under the eaves; projecting stone sills.

The interior was not inspected at the time of survey.
