Description
Ty'n-y-ddol is a building constructed from local rubble stone, featuring a slate roof with red ridge tiles. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. The central entrance consists of a boarded door set in a chamfered frame, which is sheltered by a later pitched roof open porch. On either side of the door, there are 6-light casement windows on both floors, with smaller windows on the upper floor. The gable ends have stacks with clayware pots.
To the left of the gable, there is an attached single-storey farm building that has two bays and serves as a stable or cowhouse and store, with irregular old slates and two stable doors, as well as a lean-to at the end. Additionally, at right angles to the front of the house, there is a later dairy building with an asbestos sheet roof and an opening to the loft that is accessible from the rising ground level at the gable end. The house also features an outshut along its rear. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection.
