Description
The Pigsty Range at Penrhyn-dyfi is a 19th-century structure made of rubble stonework and topped with a continuous slate roof. This range consists of four pig sties arranged from east to west, facing the main farm building. Each sty features an opening that leads to a walled run on the south side, with each run having its own gate that opens onto the south side driftway, which runs past the north end of the farm range. In the southwest corner, there is a large monolithic stone basin, and another large stone basin is located in the center of the farmyard, which is still supplied with water from a leet.
