Description
Glanllyn Cottage is a linear cottage range built in the 19th century, originally consisting of three separate cottages. It is two storeys high, with each cottage featuring a doorway flanked by small ground floor windows. There is an outshot at the right (south) end of the building. The structure is made of mortared rubble masonry and has a modern slate roof with a tiled ridge.
There are three chimneys along the range; the one at the left gable is a large rectangular stack with dripstones and capping, while a similar stack is located between the second and third cottages. The right gable has a narrower stack.
The left cottage has a modern half-glazed doorway with a small single-paned window to the right (south) and ground and first floor two-pane casement windows to the left. The central cottage features a similar door flanked by two-pane horizontally sliding sash windows. The right cottage has a lower roofline and contains a modern boarded door with four-pane lights on either side, while the outshot also has a boarded door with a four-pane light to the right (south).
The interior could not be inspected during the survey.
