Description

5 Y Lawnt is a pair of two-window cottages that are canted forward at the center. They are constructed of coursed rubble masonry and feature a gently pitched slate roof with oversailing eaves, close verges, and modern bargeboards. The cottages have stone stacks and water tabling.

The upper sashes of the first-floor windows are shallow and consist of nine panes, while No 5 has modern glazing. The ground floor features twelve-pane sash windows, except for No 5, which has deep stone lintels above them. The doorways are adorned with three-pane rectangular fanlights. No 4 retains its original flush panel door, and the thresholds for Nos 3 and 4 are made of stone, with slate doorsteps.
