Description

3 Y Lawnt is a pair of cottages dating from the 19th century. The cottages are canted forward at the center and constructed of coursed rubble masonry. They feature a gently pitched slate roof with oversailing eaves, close verges, and modern bargeboards. Stone stacks and water tabling are also present.

The upper floor has shallow sashes with 9 panes in the windows, while No 5 has modern glazing. The ground floor windows typically have 12 panes in sash style, except for No 5. These windows are topped with deep stone lintels. The doorways are adorned with 3-pane rectangular fanlights. No 4 retains its original flush panel door, and Nos 3 and 4 have stone thresholds with slate doorsteps.
