2 Arran Road

2 Arran Road is a three-storey, five-window former flannel factory built with coursed, squared rubble masonry. The building features a moderately pitched slate roof with plain eaves and close verges. There are stone stacks integrated into the roof pitch, with two on the front and one on the rear, along with water tabling. A skylight is positioned directly above the second-floor windows.

The second floor has eight-pane sash windows located under the eaves, while the first floor features sixteen-pane sashes with stone lintels. The ground floor has three renewed broad cambered arched openings at the center, with slate voussoirs. There are wide doorways with stone lintels on either side. Behind these openings is an open arcade that has modern shopfronts.

On the left side of the left end elevation, which overlooks the river, there is a tier of windows. This includes an eight-pane sash on the second floor and sixteen-pane sashes on both the first and ground floors. The rear elevation has two shallow eight-pane sashes under the eaves on the left, with two sixteen-pane windows below, also featuring stone lintels. A doorway with a stone lintel and a modern door is located on the ground floor to the right, and there is a modern lean-to along the ground floor to the left.
