Description

Garth-Bleiddyn is a building constructed of rubble with a slate roof, featuring an off-set 19th-century chimney on the left with a square base and a plain cornice, as well as another square chimney on the rear gable. The front of the building is nearly symmetrical and includes a large central porch from the 19th century. This porch is made of rubble with a timber-framed upper section that is gabled, displaying the date 1831 and the initial "V" for Vaughan in raised wooden letters. The porch has a boarded background and plain bargeboards, creating a pedimental effect.

To the left of the porch are four-pane windows from around 1900, along with three rubble gabled dormers. To the right of the porch is a modern two-pane window. The right side also features a surviving wall from the original byre section, which was taken down in the 1950s. On the left side, set back and stepped down, there is an adjoining 19th-century wash-house range with a hipped slate roof and a truncated brick chimney on the left, along with a boarded door on the right. Further along, there is a cart-house and storage block that is also stepped down, with a roof hipped to the left, a boarded door, and a former cart opening on the left. At the rear, there is a wide gable with a chimney and a four-pane window, while the remaining windows are modern.

Inside, the former hall on the ground floor to the left features a beamed ceiling with plain chamfered joists and a main beam.
