Description
Capel Moriah Fro is a Romanesque style chapel constructed from grey rock-faced snecked masonry with pale freestone dressings. It features a slate roof with shallow stone parapet copings and fleur de lys finials. The gabled entrance elevation showcases stepped decoration and a prominent central section with paired round-headed arched doorways flanked by Romanesque columns. Above this, there is a triple arched window at first floor level, supported by a moulded corbelled course and articulated by columns with Romanesque capitals, along with a small Venetian window at the apex. The outer bays on either side contain a round-headed window above a square-headed window. The side elevations feature square-headed ground and first floor windows across five bays. All windows have been replaced with modern versions of the original margin paned lights. The rear elevation is rendered and has a mix of modern windows.
