Description
Pont Cwellyn No 1 and Pont Cwellyn No 2, also known as Pont Glan-yr-afon, is a bridge constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone with stone-on-edge coping. It features three arches: the southern arch, which spans the Afon Gwyrfai, is round-arched, while the center arch, serving as a flood relief arch, and the northern arch, which crosses the Afon Treweunydd, are both segmental. All arches are built with voussoirs and arch-rings. Additionally, there is a walled refuge on the west side of the bridge, located opposite the driveway to Glanrafon.
