Description

Hen Efail is a one-and-a-half storey cottage featuring a two-window front. It is constructed from local stone and has heavy foundations, topped with an old slate roof. The cottage is distinguished by tall octagonal end chimneys and two stone gabled dormers. The central doorway is flanked by a window on each side. The glazing consists of modern casements, except for the window to the left of the doorway, which has an older wooden mullion and transom. To the right of the cottage, there is a lean-to that is said to have been an old smithy. At the rear, there is a central doorway that was formerly a window.
