Description

This is a single-story stone gazebo or music room, likely dating from the late 18th century. It is a square building with a slightly bowed southwest end featuring three 12-pane sash windows that overlook the Afon Wnion valley. The construction is of coursed rubble stone, with a battered rubble plinth, and a slate roof. A projecting chimney breast with a rubble stack is located on the southeast side. The northeast gable features a pediment with a blind roundel above a 12-pane sash window. The entrance on the northwest side is unusually plain, with a heavily studded door.

The interior is notable for its exceptionally fine and elaborate Adamesque segmental ceiling. Decorative features include an anthemion and palmette cornice, fan ornamented paterae, garlands, griffins, and a dado rail. A lugged architrave frames the doorway. The interior was restored in 1980.
