Description
This is a two-storey Regency house and shop, which was originally part of a terrace of two units. It is built from local rubble with a slate roof that features oversailing eaves and a plastered soffit. There is a near-central chimney with plain cornicing. The late 19th century to early 20th century shop front includes large canted shop windows with plain glazing on either side of a central, recessed entrance. The shop front has a simple blind box and fascia, along with plain flanking pilasters. To the left of the shop front, there is an entrance with a modern door that does not match the character of the building, and a window with PVCu glazing. To the right of the shop front, there is a larger passage entrance with boarded doors and a plain (obscured) overlight. The first floor has three bays that retain their original unhorned 9-pane sash windows, each with projecting stone sills. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
