Description

This building, originally a chemist, is a pair of three-storey structures featuring three-window fronts made of painted render. The small pane sash windows have had their glazing bars removed from the lower sashes on the first floor of No 62. Both buildings have modern two-window shop fronts, with No 62 also having tile hanging. They are topped with slate roofs and red brick chimney stacks, while No 60 has boarded eaves. The right end of the pair is finished in pebbledash and cement render, featuring a six-panel door. The left end has scribed render with a tiny small pane sash window in the gable and two paired doorways at the center; one is boarded, and the other is an eight-panel door with a diamond panelled fanlight and timber columns. The rear of the building is made of cement render and primarily features small pane sash windows, including a 24-pane window at No 62. No 60 has a lean-to structure with a boarded loft door.
