Description
Polecoffs is a three-storey building with a front featuring two plus one windows, finished in scribed render. The asymmetrical design reflects its original function as two separate properties. It has a slate roof and red brick chimney stacks with weathercourse bands. The second floor has recessed 12-pane sash windows with lugged architraves, while the first floor features moulded windows. The building boasts a good Victorian shop front, which includes an almost full-width ramped fascia with a blind box by Dean of Putney, fluted pilasters, and a bracket on the left side, although the right side has been mutilated. The windows have carved spandrels and are flanked by Corinthian colonnettes. There is a splayed central entrance with double half-glazed doors, and a boarded door to the left. At the rear, there is a large two-storey modern extension.
