Description
Omar Khayam, which includes the former carriage entry to the Penlan Fawr Public House, is a two-storey building with a two-window rendered front, topped with a slate roof and featuring a cement rendered chimney stack on the right gable. On the left side, there is a cross frame window, while the right side has a small pane pivot window. The modern shopfront for Omar Khayyam is located at the front, and to the right, there is a segmental arched carriage entrance with stepped keystones and boarded doors.
The rear of the building is pebbledashed and includes a cross range to the left, which is now separate from the courtyard behind Penlan Fawr. The stable range of Penlan Fawr adjoins the cross range of this building.
It is noted that the interior of the building was once used as a theatre.
