Description

Hammel Range at Plas-gwyn is a single-storey building that features an integral fore-yard and is situated at a higher level than the square farmyard at Plas-gwyn. It is accessed by a ramp on the northeast side of the yard. The building is constructed from local stone and has a slate roof. It includes three wide openings with stone lintels and one door. The southeast side of the yard is bordered by a wall made of rounded boulders, which serves as a partial retaining wall for the farmyard. There is a wide entry gate at the top of the approach ramp.
