Neuadd Eryri (Normal College)

Neuadd Eryri, also known as Normal College, is a three-storey building with an attic, featuring a five-bay front made of cement render. The slate roof has a swept-up ridge at the apexes and swept boarded eaves. There is a louvred bellcote with a finial and an off-centre cement rendered chimney stack located midway down the roof pitch. The central bay is taller and gabled, with kneelers, while the gable ends have more pronounced kneelers over tapered clasping buttresses that rise to the second floor level. The windows are small pane casements with bell dripmoulds, mostly arranged as 2+2-light with a dividing panel. The central gable features the first roofed dormer and a stone mullioned window. Above an advanced two-storey porch with a cornice and semicircular pediment, there is a seven-light window; the centre has freestone over half-glazed double doors with an architrave. Broadly splayed two-storey bay windows are located on either side, and a further half-glazed door has been inserted into a four-light window on the right.

At the centre rear, there is a cross range that shares similar architectural details. The gable ends feature splayed attic oriels. A single-storey arcaded and covered passage connects to the Domestic and Dining Hall range.
