Description
Arvon and the adjoining outbuildings to the north are a single-storey structure dating from the early 20th century. The building features rendered walls beneath a highly decorated half-hipped slate roof, which is adorned with red ceramic ridge tiles and grey, green, and purple slates arranged in a diaper pattern. There are two small rendered ridge stacks. The simple rectangular plan includes a central entrance with a glazed door, flanked by canted bay windows, all featuring applied late 20th century false leading. The end walls have applied timber framing.
The outbuildings, which are also rendered, are lower and set back from the main building. They have roofs similar to the main structure, but with gabled designs. The higher of the two outbuildings has curved ornamental cresting on the end ridge tiles. Early 20th century timber casements and boarded doors are likely original features. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
