Description

Pen-sarn is a cottage that features a roughcast exterior and a roof made of small slates, with roughcast end stacks, the larger of which has dripcourses on the left side. The front of the cottage has two 4-pane sash windows and a centrally located ledged door. There is an earlier 20th-century addition on the right end that consists of a single room. To the left end of the cottage, there is an outbuilding range with a roof of small slates, which partially collapsed in 1997. This outbuilding has three doorways with slab lintels and ledged doors. The rear of the house is constructed from rubble stone and features two small windows, while the rear of the byre has one 4-pane sash window on the left.
