Description
Bryn Caned is a cottage constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, featuring a grouted slate roof and a whitewashed stone stack at the eastern end, complete with dripstones and pyramid capping. The building is single-storey but has a loft space, and it has a double-fronted design with the facade offset to the right. It includes two 4-pane sash windows, with the right sash being slightly larger, and a ledged door positioned between them. To the right, there is a former byre with a lower roof, which has one door and one window. Adjacent to this is a slightly recessed section that contains one narrow window. The right end of the cottage has a 20th-century addition that is broader and higher than the byre, featuring a square plan and one window on the front. The house also has one window at the rear.
