Description

Pen-Isa'r-Llan is a two-storey late Georgian house that showcases some ambition in its design. It features a main L-shaped range with a rear wing and a long, low adjoining wing to the northwest. The building is constructed of rubble with a rendered facade and a slate roof, complete with end chimneys. The symmetrical facade has three bays, with a central entrance that includes a part-glazed 20th-century door and a modern Tuscan pedimented porch.

The original sash windows are recessed and unhorned, featuring flat-arched slate lintels and projecting sills. The lower range, which adjoins to the left, is unrendered and has a 20th-century round-arched multi-pane window at its gable end, along with a uPVC glazed window to the left. The long, road-facing side has six additional modern windows, which include both multi-pane wooden and uPVC glazing. There is a modern brick central chimney and brick quoins on the gable end to the left. Attached to this gable end is a lower rubble block with a modern roof, which has blocked-up ventilators and a modern window in the gable end loading bay.

The interior was not inspected during the survey.
