Description

Pont Rhyd-goch is a bridge constructed of random rubble. It features two segmental arches, with slightly recessed stone voussoirs that span openings approximately 5.5 meters wide. There are large pointed cutwaters on both the upstream and downstream sides of the bridge. The low parapet walls are topped with roughly squared stone blocks and extend on the south side in an arc that follows the bend in the road. A small buttress is located on the southwest side of the bridge.
