Description
The Castle Gift Shop is a 2-storey building featuring a three-sided front, situated against the revetment to Castle Square and adjacent to the rear wing of 37 Castle Square. The exterior is finished in scribed stucco, topped with a hipped slate roof that has wide bracketed eaves and a roughcast stack on the right side. The entrance is located on the left side of the left facet, featuring a panelled door with a small-pane overlight above it. To the right of the entrance is a replaced window set in an earlier opening. The central facet includes an inserted shop window. On the upper storey, there are hornless sash windows on the outer facets, each with 8 over 2 panes.
