Description
The building is a cast iron gate set into a rubble stone boundary wall, located northeast of Vaynol Hall. The gate has scrolled finials, a locking rail, and a simple iron overthrow. Notably, it incorporates a bell-cage at the top right, from which the clapper is now missing. This bell-cage was installed to call staff in from the gardens and service areas.
