Description
Capel y Gladdfa is a building constructed from green igneous rubble stonework, featuring rock-faced pale gritstone dressings and a graded slate roof. It is a single cell structure with a gabled south porch located near the west end. The building has lancet windows, which are paired at the west and center of each side, and at the east end, there is a pair of slit vents to the roof space paired with a trefoiled roundel above. Additionally, there are two single lancets. The eaves are bracketed, and there is a chamfered plinth. The gables are coped, with the eastern gable topped by a metal cross. The windows are fitted with diamond leaded glazing that has red-flashed margins.
Access from the road is provided by a 'kissing gate' set in a high half-round boulder wall with square gate piers. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection.
