Description

43 Bridge Street is a 3-storey shop with a dwelling above, featuring roughcast walls and a slate roof, which has an added skylight on the rear slope. The shop front, dating from the late 19th century, includes fluted pilasters beneath a projecting fascia. It has a 2-light window with a panelled stallboard and small-pane clerestorey glazing that continues over the doorway to the left, which has a half-lit panelled door. Above this, there are tripartite 2-pane sash windows on each storey, all with architraves, and the middle storey windows are taller and adorned with Tuscan colonnettes.
