Description

54 Pool Street is a 2-storey shop with a dwelling above, constructed of painted brick and topped with a slate roof featuring a roughcast stack on the right. The shop front is made of plate glass and includes a recessed central doorway with a half-lit panelled door and a plain overlight. The windows are fitted with turned mahogany mullions and are positioned above a roughcast stallboard. The front is accentuated by plain pilasters and a fascia with simple end consoles. On the upper storey, there are 12-pane hornless sash windows on the right and left, with a blind central window, all set under flat brick arches.
