Description

The Horse Engine House at Cae Gwynion Uchaf Farm is a 19th-century structure featuring a gabled front made of coursed rubble. It has Gothic details, including a bellcote, and is adorned with Ruabon Brick voussoirs and banding. The central window is a cusped lancet design with a freestone surround. To the left, there is a camber arched doorway with voussoirs leading to a boarded stable door. The front part of the building has a 2-bay king post roof, which includes loft accommodation for a servant beyond.
