Description
The White Horse Public House is a three-storey building constructed from Ruabon brick with stone dressings on the lower storey. The upper section features mock timber framing, arranged in quatrefoil panels on the first floor and sunk quatrefoil panels on the strongly jettied upper storey, which is supported by heavy brackets. The roof is covered with red plain tiles. The building has a wide two-window range, prominently displaying two gables and a service wing at the rear, which has hipped roofs that step down in height from the main range. To the left, there is an arched entrance leading to a courtyard, with the main entrance to the public house located alongside it. The main bar features two paired mullioned and transomed windows. The upper storey includes bowed oriel windows with leaded lights, as well as 6-light mullioned windows with leaded lights beneath the gables. The end walls have brick and terracotta stacks.
