Description

Harpers is a building with a steep slate roof, which was formerly thatched. It features boarded eaves, skylights, and Ruabon brick chimney stacks. Number 42 has a four-window front with sash windows that do not have glazing bars, while Number 44 has a two-window front with four-pane sashes. Number 42 includes Victorian fascia end brackets, with two shop windows on either side of the entry and a modern door to the right in a brick surround. Number 44 has a modern shop front and a cross range at the rear. Inside Number 44, there is one lightly chamfered beam on the first floor.
