Description

6 Bridge Street is a two-storey building with a front made of coursed rubble, featuring a layout of two plus two windows. It has an overall slate roof, wide boarded eaves, and a central chimney stack made of rubble with a brick cap. Number 6 retains small pane sash windows, while Number 7 has modern windows. Both properties have voussoir lintels and keystones. There are bracketed stone hoods over the entrances at either end, which have six-panel doors and three-pane fanlights. Under the eaves, there is a central oval plaque that is completely eroded. The front of the building is enclosed by cast-iron railings. It is said to retain stone staircases.
