Description

This is a Grade II listed lime kiln made of rubble stone, featuring a rectangular plan and built into a bank. The high front wall has two ledged doors, one on each side, topped with slab lintels. There are cemented rubble parapets on three sides. At the top, there is a crucible with a brick rim surrounding a circular hole, and the interior is lined with header bricks.
