Description
Ty Isaf, also known as the SE Cottage, is a pair of two-storey houses featuring a slate roof and three squat stacks topped with square yellow crested chimney-pots. The earlier southeast part of the building is pebbledashed and has a three-window range. To the left, there is an addition constructed of rubble stone, which has two windows that match the size of those in the original section. The original part features hornless 16-pane sash windows, a six-panel door, and a three-pane overlight, with the facade offset to the right. The addition includes four-pane horned sashes, with the right window and door built against the original corner, while the other windows are roughly central. The ground floor has slab lintels and a ledged door.
At the rear, there is a catslide outshut. The left end chimney has an ornate slate fire-grate built into the great chimney. Inside, there is a dog-leg stair located at the rear of the passageway, along with remnants of oak panelling.
