Description

18-20 Rating Row consists of two 1½-storey cottages featuring pebble-dashed walls, slate roofs, and roughcast stacks. The cottage at No 20 is larger and painted cream, while No 18 is painted pink. Each cottage has a central entrance: No 20 has a half-glazed door with Gothic intersecting tracery, and No 18 has a fielded-panel door. On either side of the door, there are 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows. Both cottages also have central hipped half dormers with similar windows. This pair of cottages belongs to a group at 18-20 Rating Row.
