Description

Nos. 16, 18, 20, and 22 Queen Street is a terrace of four cottages dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the late 20th century. The cottages are built from coursed square buff sandstone rubble and feature a Kerridge stone-slate roof, along with three brick chimneys and one stone chimney. The cottages have a curving alignment, with numbers 20 and 22 stepping forward, while number 16 is an addition. The windows are a mix of one, two, and three-light wooden casements set in plain reveals, and the doors are modern board doors beneath rough stone lintels.
