Description

This is an octagonal sandstone sundial located at Carreglwyd, set on a square pillar with fluted sides. The face of the sundial is made of slate and still shows its weathered markings, which include the name of the maker: Whitstable & Sons. The gnomon, which casts the shadow, is made of brass.
