Description
The structure is a bridge, walling, and gateposts at the entrance to Carreglwyd, built from rubble masonry. The lake outlet stream flows through tall arches with square heads and stone slab lintels, which project slightly under a plinth course. Above the road level, the walling reaches a height of approximately 0.5 meters and features rounded gritstone coping. Beyond the bridge, the road splits into two branches; one leads to the front of the house, while the other goes to the estate buildings at the rear. The walling extends about 10 meters along each branch of the road, with the bridge located at the southwest end. Each section of walling is finished with paired, square, rubblestone gateposts topped with large ball finials.
