Description
222-224 High Street in Linlithgow is an earlier 19th-century, three-storey, four-bay tenement building that was refurbished around 1960. The structure is made of coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar margins and features base and eaves courses, as well as raised margins and architraves around the shop windows.
On the south entrance elevation, there is a tripartite shop on the right, with a fanlit door in the center flanked by shop windows. To the left, there is another fanlit door and a window on the outer left. The first and second floors have regular fenestration, with smaller windows on the second floor.
The building has 12-pane sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, and ashlar coped skews, with stacks located at the gables.
