Description
258-260 High Street in Linlithgow is an earlier 19th century, two-storey and attic, three-bay tenement that features a shop on the ground floor and a pend. The building is constructed of cream sandstone rubble, with stuged squared and coursed stone on the south elevation and a base course.
The south entrance elevation has a modern shop front and a pend with an iron gate to the outer left. The first floor has regular fenestration.
On the north rear elevation, there are three bays with a rectangular stair block that has a piended roof, along with a lower single-storey wing that abuts to the north.
The building includes 12-pane sash and case windows, with 4-pane windows in the dormers. It has a grey slate roof with ashlar coped skews, two slate-hung piended dormers, and rounded angles.
