Description
Elmbank in Luss is an early 19th-century building that has undergone later alterations and additions. It is a single-storey structure with a T-plan layout and a full-height rear east wing. The building features five bays, with a sixth broad garage bay located on the outer left. The exterior is finished in painted render with red sandstone margins.
On the southwest (main) elevation, there is a door at the center flanked by two windows on each side, along with the broad garage to the outer left. The gable elevation has a gabled jamb with two windows, while the main body of the cottage is recessed to the outer left.
The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case. The roof is covered with graded grey slate and includes lead flashings, with apex stacks that have stone coping and octagonal cans.
