Description

Dated 1777. Single span, segmental-arched bridge carrying road over Glen Striddle stream. Rubble, recently repointed in cement mortar (?); recent mortar render to coping; vouissors. Weathered. Low parapet, plaque on N parapet inscribed "Wm Johns built this bridge 1777".

S Parapet with relief of ram?s head; recessed plaque below with inscription "Sir IC Luss".
