Description

The Roe Deer Statue, created by M Geiss from Berlin in the late 19th century, was painted in 1929 and refurbished in 1986. This carved bronze statue of a roe deer is painted to appear life-like. It stands on a granite pedestal and bronze plinth within a dwarf quadrant walled recess by the eastern parterre at Balmoral Castle.
