Description

The Shell Drinking Fountain, located in the sunken garden by the western parterre of Balmoral Castle, was built around 1855. It is made of granite ashlar and features a shell-shaped basin with a panelled back and a shell pediment. The fountain is positioned against the western wall of the sunken garden, to the west of the castle.
