Description
Coulnakyle Cottage is a single-storey cottage built in the earlier to mid 19th century. It has a rectangular plan and is constructed from harled stone. The central entrance features a part-glazed, two-leaf door with a small-pane fanlight above, flanked by windows. The side elevations are blank and include tall, broad wallhead stacks. At the rear, there is a small lean-to addition that projects off-centre to the right, with windows on either side. The cottage has four-pane timber sash and case windows and a roof covered with grey slates, featuring a piend and platform design, along with 19th century cast-iron rooflights.
